Your restaurant in Grönhögen on southern Öland.
Now this summer, in addition to our pizza menu, we have a live menu
that is constantly changing during the summer
when we work locally produced.
If the local fisherman has had fishing luck, we serve flounder,
otherwise you can enjoy high-rib burgers, fish n chips and salads.

Kvarnens history

The Dutch Mill

The mill was built in the traditional Dutch style on the farm Bolleholm near Kristianstad in the year 1844.
It was owned there by Håkan and Maria Jönsson. Albert Sjöman (also called the Dutchman) bought the mill for money he earned on the gold fields in Australia.
The mill was taken down and eventually arrived by sea to Grönhögen. The mill's operations as a mill lasted
until the end of the Second World War when wind-powered mills became obsolete.

The mill was then used as a firestation before it was renovated into a restaurant in the late 1970s. In a pleasant atmosphere and surroundings with outdoor seating in the summer, there is something for all tastes here, from pizza to á la carte and children's menu.
